Pricing
Real, written quotes before you book. No hidden call-out fees, no stair fees, no “extras” on the day. Here’s how it works.
No call-out fee. No distance surcharge. No piano fee. No stairs charge. The clock starts at your door and stops at the new one.
All-in pricing
You will see Gold Coast removalists advertising from $130/hr. The catch is what is not in that headline rate. Most of them add separate fees on the day — distance, stairs, lifts, pianos, dismantling. We do not. The rate is the rate. Here is what is built in, not bolted on.

Why cheaper-looking quotes often aren't
A 5-hour move with a piano and 18km between addresses — a normal Gold Coast job. Here is how a "from $132/hr" quote and our $159/hr quote really compare.

No surcharges. No add-ons.
The math flips on jobs over 4 hours, anything with a heavy item, anything over 15km between addresses, or any property with stairs. Most Gold Coast moves include at least one of those. Get a fixed quote for your specific job.
How we price moves
How much stuff and what size truck. A studio is different from a 4-bedroom house. We figure this out from your quote details. No inspection needed for most jobs.
Lift bookings, stairs, narrow driveways, parking distance from the door. These all affect time on the job. We price honestly for what's there. No game playing.
Local move within a suburb? Cross-coast? Interstate? Distance affects fuel and travel time. We're upfront about what each leg costs.
Pricing questions
Our rate is $159 an hour for 2 movers + truck, with a 2-hour minimum. That is the all-in door-to-door rate — the clock starts when we arrive at your pickup and stops when we finish unloading at the new place. No call-out fee, no distance fee under 40km, no stairs charge, no piano or pool table fee, no dismantle/reassembly fee, no fuel levy on local jobs. Final price is tailored to your specific job — get a quick quote and we will confirm.
Three things. The size of the move (how much stuff, how big the truck needs to be). The access at both ends (stairs, lift, parking distance). The travel between addresses. We work that into a single number before you book. No surprises on the day.
You can find Gold Coast removalists advertising from $130 an hour. The catch is what is not in that headline rate. Most operators charging the lower rates add separate fees on the day for distance over 15km, stairs at either end, lifts, pianos, pool tables, dismantling and reassembling furniture, and fuel. Stack two or three of those onto a 5-hour move and you are paying more than $159 an hour anyway, just less predictably. We charge $159 because we do not add those fees. The rate is the rate, the quote is the quote, and the 47 five-star Google reviews exist because customers got the price they were quoted on the day they moved.
No. The hourly rate covers everything from the moment we pull up to the moment we drive away. No separate trip charge.
No. Stairs at either end don't add a separate charge. Stairs make the work take a little longer, sure, but we've already factored that into the hour count when we quote. No surprise stair fee on the day.
If we quoted you a fixed price, that's what you pay regardless of how long the day runs. If we quoted hourly, we charge for actual time on site, billed to the nearest 15 minutes. We tell you which we're doing before you book.
Same typical rate Monday through Sunday for residential moves. After-hours commercial work (overnight office relocations, etc.) is quoted on a job-by-job basis.
Yes, a 2-hour minimum, which is industry standard. Most jobs run longer than two hours anyway, so this only kicks in for very small pickups (single item, short loading-only work). Call us, we'll give you a straight answer in a minute.
Use the 60-second quote form, or call 0451 814 545. Tell us where you're moving from and to, roughly how big the move is, and any tricky access. We come back with a clear price the same day, usually within a couple of hours.
