We put everything in one written quote before you book — the hourly rate, the call-out, and any heavy or specialty items — so quoted and paid are the same. By the job, roughly
Most people want a number, not a meter. These ranges are a guide from real Gold Coast and Brisbane jobs — a starting point before the call-out and any specialty items, which we confirm in your written quote.
1-bed unit, studio, or a few big items. Typical job: 2-4 hours.
2-3 bedroom home, townhouse, or small office. Typical job: 4-7 hours.
4+ bedroom home, large office, or longer-distance. Typical job: 7-12 hours.

Lift bookings, stairs, narrow driveways, parking distance, and any heavy or specialty items like pianos or safes. These affect the crew, gear and time. We price honestly for what’s there.
Local move within a suburb, cross-coast, or interstate. Travel time sets the call-out — around 30 minutes locally, an hour further north, more for the Sunshine Coast and Northern NSW. We’re upfront about it.
We fold all of the above into a single written number before you book. That’s the figure you pay — nothing added once we’re on the job.
Pricing questions
We start at $169 an hour for 2 movers + truck, with a 2-hour minimum. The clock runs from when we arrive at your pickup to when we finish unloading. On top of the hourly rate, a call-out (travel time) applies — around 30 minutes for local Gold Coast moves, about an hour for areas further north toward Brisbane, and more for the Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay and further into Northern NSW. Heavy or specialty items (pianos, marble and concrete tables, safes, very heavy fridges going upstairs) carry an additional charge. We put all of it in a written quote before you book, so the number you see is the number you pay.
The size of the move (how much stuff, how big the truck needs to be). The access at both ends (stairs, lift, parking distance). The travel between addresses, including the call-out. And any heavy or specialty items. We work all of that into a single written number before you book, so there are no surprises on the day.

Yes. Pianos, marble and concrete tables, safes, extremely heavy fridges going upstairs, and very heavy specialty items in difficult-access situations need extra crew, gear or care, so they carry an additional charge. Tell us what you have when you request a quote and we will include it in the written price.
Not for standard stairs. Stairs at either end make the work take a little longer, and that time is already in your quote — there is no separate stair fee. The one exception is a particularly difficult or heavy item, which we would flag and price up front.
If we quoted you a fixed price, that's what you pay regardless of how long the day runs. If we quoted hourly, we charge for actual time on site, billed to the nearest 15 minutes. We tell you which we're doing before you book.
Same starting rate Monday through Sunday for residential moves. After-hours commercial work (overnight office relocations, etc.) is quoted on a job-by-job basis.
Yes, a 2-hour minimum, which is industry standard. Most jobs run longer than two hours anyway, so this only kicks in for very small pickups (single item, short loading-only work). Call us, we'll give you a straight answer in a minute.
