Meet Lucas

The story behind LOG.

Hi, I'm Lucas. I started LOG Removal & Transport on the Gold Coast in February 2019. The plan was simple. Build a small removalist business that I would be happy to use myself.

That meant honest quotes. The price you see is the price you pay. People who actually care about your stuff. Trucks turning up when we say they will. No lowball quotes that grow on the day. Every cost written down before we start. No subcontractors who do not know your job.

Six years and a lot of moves later, that is still how we run. Most of our work comes from word of mouth, people who used us once and told their friends. That is the best signal we are doing it right.

I'll be straight with you: we're not the cheapest removalist on the Coast. What we are is reliable. I come from a background leading teams, and I'm hands-on in this business every week — the planning, the execution, and looking after customers the way I'd want to be looked after. A bad move costs you more than the right team ever will, in damage, stress and wasted time. That's the trade we ask people to make, and it's why so many of our customers come back.

What we stand for

Three principles. Every move. No exceptions.

Show up. On time.

Moving day is stressful enough without wondering where the truck is. We text you when we are on the way. We arrive in the window we promised. We get to work straight away.

Treat it like our own.

Furniture wrapped properly. Mattresses bagged. Pianos and marble pieces handled with the gear and care they need. Floors and doorways protected. The kind of attention you would want for your own grandmother's china cabinet.

The price you see is the price you pay.

We do not quote low and bill high. Our quotes include the truck, the team, the wrapping, the dismantle and reassembly, and the lift. If something genuinely changes on the day (you have added a couch the size of a small boat) we tell you before we start.

A move we're proud of

A 300kg marble table into a Broadbeach penthouse.

One of the jobs we're proudest of was a three-level penthouse at The Remi in Broadbeach. We worked directly with the owner and building management over several days to plan and run it properly.

The centrepiece challenge was a marble table weighing more than 300kg that had to go all the way up to the top level, along with a houseful of very heavy, high-end furniture. The access was tight, the finishes were expensive, and there was zero room for a mistake — the kind of job another removalist might have walked away from.

It went smoothly, the owner was thrilled, and it's the sort of move that tells you whether a removalist really knows what they're doing. If you've got heavy or specialty items, that's exactly the work we take on.
